Another year, another birthday tomorrow. Can't say I'm anticipating much of a difference between twenty-one and twenty-two, but we shall see. The brightest spot is that Dad got a little carried away and sent me what I know to be a rather expensive stethoscope. I can't wait until I finally get to move out of the bloody classroom and into the hospital so I can make use of it.

I never thought I'd say this, but I think I'm starting to miss her a little. I mean, it was a bit of a relief at first, the silence and all, but now it's veering towards becoming unbearable. I suppose you never fully realize how close you are to someone until you lose them.

Good goddess, I am so glad to be back at school again. I know it's only been a few weeks, but it quite honestly feels more like a lifetime.

Not, ah, that I didn't enjoy spending time with the family, even under unfortunate circumstances, of course. I just don't like getting too behind in my studies. Besides, Nimueh, Morgana, and Mordred all under one bloody roof? The thought somehow makes me uneasy.
